As of August 2023, the Garden participates in the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Garden Network, which offers free admission and/or additional benefits at more than 360 gardens throughout North America and the Caribbean.

Join a Giving Circle
By joining a Giving Circle, you will receive membership and elevated Garden benefits for a year. Your annual leadership support will provide essential support to sustain the Houston Botanic Garden and help the Garden fulfill its mission of enriching lives through discovery, education, and the conservation of plants and the natural environment. Please help us maintain the 132-acre Houston Botanic Garden, provide important youth, adult, and senior programming, and grow horticulture, research and conservation efforts of a world-class botanic garden.
Through their leadership, Giving Circle members support the continued operations of this amazing place of beauty, serenity, discovery, science, research, and education.
Giving Circle Levels
All Giving Circles members receive the following benefits:
- General admission for one year (number varies by level)
- Recognition on Giving Circles Roster
- 10% discount at The Garden Shop
- Discounts on select events and programs (number varies by level)
- Invitations to Giving Circles events
- Invitations to exhibition previews and exclusive viewings
- Invitation to Garden’s annual meeting
- 10 reservations for a private tour
In addition, each Giving Circles level features its own unique benefits.

Gift A Membership
Gift a membership to the Houston Botanic Garden to the people in your life for a birthday, wedding anniversary, the birth of a baby or grandchild, the Holidays, or just to show you care. Memberships at any level can be given as a thoughtful and generous way to celebrate someone.
Memberships are non-transferable and 100% tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A cardholder adult must be present to enjoy membership benefits.
